Press Release Summary: The plight of good versus evil, who has the most marbles or
in this case money and will the Justice System ever be just? Or are we forced to
find our own way, and is it all in the eye of the beholder?

Press Release Body: In November of 2004, I was just another married woman in the
upper economic class of America, until I filed for divorce due to domestic violence.

I went from lifestyles of the rich and famous, a 7 bedroom home, indoor pool, movie
theatre, gym, half a dozen vehicles - I think you get the picture - to Poverty Level
head of Household in months.

With 2 boys, 2 cats, 3 dogs, no income, a car that would later be in the throes of
repossession, a house that was in foreclosure and an ex husband with a vengeance to
continue to wage his war against all women, but aimed at me, now through the court
system because he could. He who has the money, has the ability to fire frivolous
lawsuits again and again.
Even to the point of suing my son for his own vehicle that we\'d given him years
before as a Christmas gift.

If anyone would have ever told me that I\'d still be in court 39 months later, I
would have told them it\'s impossible. Well, it isn\'t. And I still am. This time
to prove my credentials for a State issued license I worked long and hard to get in
1995, that he now challenges I never had. Frivolous is the word for this ongoing
legal battle. War of attrition. Lawyers that continue to take his money and a
court system, that allows this. War continues to rage around us, it\'s not just in
Iraq. It\'s in our own backyards. It\'s in my divorce.

I am also here to tell you that you can only be beat if you give up, not your money,
but your will.
You see the only thing that my ex really took was material possessions. All of that
is replaceable, if you have the drive and the will to pick up and follow your
dreams.
As we sit and watch Hillary, Obama, McCain, Romney, Huckabee, Paul, Gravel, and all
the other folks that have the courage to run - no simple feat - and are still in the
race -we must look within ourselves, find our inner strength, our spirit to live
against all odds, whether they be financial obstacles or medical diagnosis - it\'s a
state of mind.
If we have to fight, lets fight for our happiness. A man can only rise, conquer and
achieve by lifting up his thoughts.

You see, my ex could never take the joy that is in my heart. He can never destroy
my dreams. He can never keep me from achieving all that God intended for me to do
on this green earth. We are all put here for a reason, and no lawsuit of his will
ever stop me.

The Law of Attraction is a certain, undeniable fact of my life. If we can condition
our mind to listen to the positive, we will attract that into our daily lives.
Opportunity will find you. Doors will open. Smiles will come your way. Life will
become easier every single day, no matter what comes your way.

If learning this lesson was a by product of divorcing that man, than I\'m so blessed.
One sure way to forgive and forget our enemies is to become absorbed in some cause
infinitely bigger than ourselves. Then the insults we encounter won\'t matter
because we will be oblivious of everything but our cause. I ran for Public Office,
because I wanted to help others. I didn\'t want to have this experience and allow it
to just take from me. Lack will bread lack, if that is what you are forced to think
about due to circumstances. Concern yourself but don\'t worry. Don\'t. Take your
control back. Believe in yourself. Don\'t listen to the lies of others, you know
yourself better than anyone else.
Remember this, the great philosopher who ruled the Roman Empire Marcus Aurelius said
this \"Our life is what our thoughts make it.\"
And Norman Vincent Peale said \"you are not what you think you are, but what you
think, you are.\"

Respect your neighbors, their views are important, as we approach this Presidential
Election, we are given choices. Remember that, you have a choice too. Every single
day, that you wake up, that you have air in your lungs, you can choose to do things
differently. You can be all that you have ever wanted. It\'s in your mind. You
choose. You vote. You are the candidate. No one ever said that life was easy. It
isn\'t but, it can be the ride of your life if you let it. It\'s your turn to win.
Turn off the negatives, turn on positive thoughts, happy music, friendly people,
good books, look in the mirror each morning and know that you are the most unique in
all the world. You are like the snowflake. Thee Only one. Then say - I love you.
Because of all the commandments, the Greatest of These is Love.
